Media orientation and consumption

The corona crisis has a profound impact on our daily lives, but also on the business value chain of the construction and installation industry. There are many area’s that are affected, but one of the key ones would be the orientation and media usage behaviour of installers. A strong trends towards digital orientation and the usage of social media amongst installers was already visible. The new Q4 2020 report of the European Mechanical Installation Monitor, a telephone survey conducted amongst 650 mechanical installers from 6 European countries, researched for example if the corona crisis had impact on this trend and more. 

This report provides an update on how the media usage and orientation of installers changed over time and how strong the impact of the corona crisis has been. The full report tackles the full range of possible orientation and media sources, including a trend line (measured every two years).
